Taltos Fortune Teller Tea Cup

“Perchance this cup will show it thee. Would’st thy fortune like to see?” is written around the outside of the cup. In the center of the cup is a sailing ship surrounded by fortune-telling symbols. Saucer is decorated with the signs of the zodiac, a shamrock is in the center. Both the saucer and the cup are in lovely condition. The original 1970s Taltos Fortune Telling Teacup and saucer by Jon Anton Ironstone – Made In England for A.G.D. Reg. No. 947345/6 was  available in my Artfire Shop at PattyAnn.artfire.com but has been SOLD.

Jon Anton Fortune Tellers Tea Cup and Saucer

My husband had accompanied a friend to a tea leaf reader who offered to tell him his fortune too. She told him to take a long walk and he would meet his Queen of Hearts an had he walked out her front door and turned left, he would   have walked right past my house. We met in the Deserted Village of Allaire six months later where I worked in the General Store on one of his long walks   through the park. It was love at first sight and we’ve been happily married for 35 years. I don’t read tea leaves but I do believe.

Quote by George Bernard Shaw

People are always blaming...

“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are.  I don’t believe in circumstances.  The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can’t find them, make them. ”

A great quote by George Bernard Shaw
