Taltos Fortune Teller Tea Cup

I found another one! Here is a really nice Taltos Fortune Telling Teacup and Saucer with the instruction booklet. “Made in Staffordshire England ~ Royal Kendal ~ Fine Bone China” is stamped on the bottom of both the cup and saucer.

Taltos Fortune Telling Teacup and Saucer and Instruction Book

Written around the outside of the cup are the words; “Perchance this cup will show it thee. Would’st thy fortune like to see?”.  In the center of the cup is a sailing ship surrounded by fortune-telling symbols. Saucer is decorated with the signs of the zodiac, a shamrock is in the center. Both the saucer and the cup are in lovely condition. No chips cracks or repairs. Like new.

Cup measures 3″ wide and 2 5/8″ tall.
Saucer measures 5 1/2″ wide and 1″ tall.

Included is a copy of The Taltos Fortune Telling Teacup book with 21 pages of useful information to be able to interpret the different signs and symbols while reading the tea leaves.

SOLD September 26, 2018 in my Etsy Shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/MyVintageMadness.

Jon Anton Fortune Tellers Tea Cup and Saucer

True story: In 1976, my husband went with a friend to a tea leaf reader who offered to tell him his fortune as well. She told him to take a long walk and he would soon meet his Queen of Hearts. Now, if he had walked out her front door and turned left, he would have walked right past my house. We met a few months later, in the Allaire State Park where I worked at the General Store in the Village, while on one of his long walks. It was love at first sight and we’ve been happily married for 41 years.
